Welcome to the Webpage of the 2010 Texas Open. This is your source of information for the 2010 Texas Open Squash Tournament.

The 2010 Texas Open will take place at The Downtown Club at The Met, Houston TX, April 6-11. There are really two tournaments in one – an amateur tournament run concurrently with a women’s professional tournament. The amateur event, taking place April 9-11, is US Squash sanctioned and is flighted by skill level and age. The professional event, taking place April 6-11, is a Women’s International Squash Players Association (WISPA) tournament consisting of a 16 player qualifying draw, Apr 6-7, and a 16 player main draw, Apr 8-11.

2010 marks the tenth anniversary of the first WISPA event held in the state of Texas, which was in Dallas in May 2000, and the fifth time the WISPA girls will be returning to Houston. The girls love coming to Houston – there may be something to that southern hospitality after all -  and the WISPA Texas Open has always been a fun and exciting week of great squash from the pros and amateurs alike. We’re looking forward to more of the same this year.
